The 2010 Shelby GT500, like the 2010 Ford Mustang GT, isn’t really a brand new car. Instead, it’s a major upgrade to the 2007 Shelby GT500. While that vehicle didn’t have the staying power of other cars (it was mainly built for speed and not much else), the 2010 model addresses many of the issues that made its ancestor a car few wanted.
This new version features better handling, braking, and is more aerodynamic.
The 2010 Shelby won’t get the gas mileage that many hybrids get – well, it’s not a car one buys for gas mileage. What the Shelby does feature is 540 HP, a new stability control system that provides great handling, and much more. Oh, and of course, it looks sleek and sexy, just like Shelby’s always do.
