Ford’s 2010 Taurus is now in preproduction, but while nothing is finalised just yet, the prototype is quite impressive. 2010-ford-taurus The 2010 Ford Taurus SHO (the SHO stands for Super High Output) features an EcoBoost engine. It’s a twin-turbo V6 that can hit 365 horsepower while at the same time being fuel efficiency and response. The vehicle also features a Haldex all-wheel-drive that puts more of the torque in the back.

A performance package will be available that features more suspension, dampers, and a rear antiroll bar. The performance model also has a shorter drive ratio which results in faster acceleration. And for those guys out there who don’t think a woman knows speed and high performance vehicles? The 2010 Taurus was designed by Christina Rodriquez, the only woman to hold Ford’s Vehicle Dynamics Development Engineer title.
