The 2010 Volvo XC60 is a five-passenger vehicle that features a three-litre turbocharged V-6 that provides 281 horsepower, a six-speed automatic transmission, and a very distinctive look.
However, this isn’t the coolest feature of the Volvo XC60. The car actually includes a number of alerts for drivers. If you start swerving as if you’re falling asleep, the car will alert you. It will also detect vehicles that are in your blind spot and will actually try to stop if it detects that you’re about to hit another car while travelling at slow speeds. The Volvo XC60 gets about 16 mpg in the city and 22 on the open road, which isn’t great. It’s also a bit expensive—the vehicle will cost £25,000, and that’s before you add in all the bells and whistles of a fully loaded package.
