In Ferrari’s own words, the new Italia is a huge step forward from the previous mid-rear engine sports car they normally produce. 
With an innovative interior featuring a new type of dash and steering wheel coming directly from the racing stable with direct input from the legendary Michael Schumacher himself, the cars general style is aerodynamically efficient, while being simple (for Ferrari’s standards) at the same time.
The front of the car has an opening for the grille along with side air intakes that have been designed to funnel air to the coolant radiators. With a 4499cc V8 installed the Ferrari jumps from 0-62mph in just 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of over 200mph. The three rear tail pipes produce 320g/km of CO2 emissions.
The car will make an appearance at the Frankfurt Motor Show that will be taking place this coming September 2009.
