Ford Flex

The 2010 Ford Flex is one of the first Fords to feature the EcoBoost initiative.  This plan will slowly be implemented across all of Ford’s vehicles in the coming years.  It makes use of direct injection, turbocharging, and smaller-displacement engines to improve fuel economy and performance.  The Flex uses a 3.5 litre V-6 engine, but thanks to EcoBoost, it performs like a V-8.  ford-flex-2010That’s quite impressive.  The Flex engine generates 355 horsepower, just like many other Ford models.  While the Flex does have a six-speed automatic transmission, it also has a manual-shift mode and features steering wheel-mounted shift paddles.

The vehicle also incorporates some new changes to the suspension, power steering, body control, and more.  Of course, the interior hasn’t been forgotten—the Flex has a six-disc CD player, dual climate control, phone integration, and much more.  The finishing touch on this beauty?  The Active Park Assist, which helps drivers parallel park.
