The 2010 Jaguar XKR, which made its debut at the 2009 Detroit auto show, is one of the new cars by Jaguar to feature its new 510 hp engine and all-aluminium body.  The car will be available as either a coupe or as a convertible, giving drivers two great options.  jaguar-xkr-2010Its engine is basically the same as the one features in the XFR and is a 5.0 litre V-8 that features direct-injection.  The transmission is a six-speed automatic, and the car features two new standard options: an electronically controlled limited-slip differential and an adaptive dampening.  Both, again, are standard on both the XFR and the XKR models.

One of the things Jaguar has made a big deal about is the interior improvements to their 2010 line-up.  The XKR features some of these upgrades, including more interior colour options, chrome highlights, saddle-stitching on the door casings, and soft leather.  All of these are great improvements on the original XK model, which was lacking in the interior.  The exterior has some upgrades as well, including a new front bumper design, side vents, and a new rear spoiler.
