GMC Acadia

Posted on 07 October 2009 by anthony

The 2010 GMC Acadia is a SUV that combines the smooth ride of a car with the seating and cargo room of a SUV.  This makes it somewhat unique among SUVs.  gmc-acadiaThe 2010 GMC Acadia features a new SLE-2 trim, giving drivers four different options (the SLE-1 and SLT-1 and SLT-2 being the other three trims).  Each comes in either all-wheel or front-wheel drive and features many different safety features.  As far as power goes, the Acadia uses a direct injection 3.6 litre V6 and a six-speed automatic transmission.

As far as the interior goes, you’ve got two bucket seats in the front and optional seating configurations for both the second and third row of seats, so you can actually carry up to eight passengers at once.  For 2010, the interior also comes equipped with USB ports on the radios, plus some new exterior colours will be available.

Acura RL

Posted on 26 September 2009 by anthony

The Acura RL is considered the flagship for the Acura series of cars, and as such, it is one of the more luxurious sedans out there.  It features a 300 horsepower 3.7 litre V6 engine with a five-speed automatic transmission.  acura-rlThe RL does feature Acura’s unique super-handling all-wheel drive system, which gives it better grip and stability in just about all types of weather, making it a good choice for those who often have to deal with rain, snow, and sleet.  The RL also comes with 18 inch alloy wheels and Xenon high intensity headlights, too.

Moving to the interior of the car, you’ll find options like heated seats, leather upholstery, satellite radio, Bluetooth wireless capability, and USB ports to connect your iPod and other gadgets to the car.  Getting around in new areas is made very easy with the Acura’s voice activated navigation system, and a rearview camera assists with parking and traffic.  Many of the Acura RL’s exterior features remain unchanged from the 2009 RL, which was extensively redesigned.
