The Ford Explorer has been one of the top SUV’s on the market, and the 2010 version is no different. It comes with rear-wheel, four-wheel, or all-wheel drive options and has two different engine versions.
You can go with a 210 horsepower 4.0-litre V6 with a five-speed automatic transmission or a 292 horsepower, 4.6-litre V8 with a six-speed automatic, although the second is only available in the Limited or Eddie Bauer trim (not on the XLT option). The interior is quite nice, featuring satellite radio, leather upholstery, heated front seats, and a third row of seating so you can easily carry seven passengers. Some nice interior options include Bluetooth connectivity, a 6 CD changer, dual-zone climate controls, and a power-folding third-row seat.
For 2010, Ford has mostly upgraded the Eddie Bauer trim option. The manual-folding third-row seat is not a standard, giving this trim the capability of seating seven just like the XLT and the Limited. However, the Eddie Bauer trim no longer features all-wheel drive.
