Cadillac CTS 2010

Posted on 01 October 2009 by anthony

The 2010 Cadillac CTS now comes in two different varieties: in 2009, the CTS was available as a sedan, but for 2010, you can now purchase the Cadillac CTS as a sport wagon.  cadillac-cts-2010This new feature includes almost twice the interior space that the sedan does, making it great for families or for those who haul around a lot of stuff with them on a daily basis.  It also features a roof load management system and a powered liftgate.  This is a serious vehicle for moving a lot of things very quickly.

Both the sport wagon and the sedan feature optional all-wheel-drive and two different trim styles.  The standard engine is a 3.0 litre V-6 that can generate 255 horsepower, but you can upgrade to a 3.6 litre that produces 304 hp if you like.  You also have the option of a six-speed automatic or manual transmission, and you can all all-wheel-drive to either.  The interior, which is quite roomy on the sport wagon, features satellite radio, eight speakers, a sunroof, optional surround sound, a USB port, and even a 40 GB hard drive to store music on.

Chevy Malibu 2010

Posted on 20 June 2009 by anthony

The 2010 Chevrolet Malibu is the smaller of Chevy’s sedan line.  It’s a petrol/electric hybrid that comes in a number of different versions.  The basic model features a 169 horsepower 2.4 litre engine that features four cylinders.  chevy-malibu-2010A four-speed automatic or a six-speed automatic are both available.  The most powerful version of the Malibu, the LTZ, features 252 horsepower and a 3.6 litre engine.

The 2010 Malibu will also feature a 2-mode hybrid engine.  This not only shuts off the petrol engine when the car comes to a stop but also allows the car to use electric power to accelerate.  The Malibu includes many safety features standard, including ABS, an antiskid system, traction control, and front side and curtain side airbags.  The car will also feature some great extras like hands-free mobile phone and iPod connections.

Lexus IS Convertible 2010

Posted on 17 June 2009 by anthony

The Lexus IS Convertible is an incredibly luxurious car.  It’s nothing at all like the old SC convertible.  lexus-is-convertible-2010This sleek car looks much sexier, and it’s got everything a great convertible should have.  The hardtop can actually open or close within 21 seconds, and when it’s closed, the car looks like a coupe.

There will be two different versions of the 2010 Lexus IS Convertible: one is a 250C sports car that features a 204 horsepower, 2.5 litre V-6 engine, while the other, the 350C, can provide 306 horsepower and has a six-speed automatic transmission.  The convertible is also a two door instead of a four door, with each door longer than those found on most sedans.  Other tweaks to the IS Convertible

2009 Pontiac G8 GXP

Posted on 13 April 2009 by anthony

The 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP has both the high performance one would expect from a muscle car, but it certainly doesn’t look or acts like one.  2009-pontiac-g8-gxpInstead, this rear-wheel-driven sedan looks sleek and stylish.  It features a 6.2 litre V-8 engine that can muster up 425 horsepower.

However, what’s under the bonnet isn’t the only thing to consider when looking at the Pontiac G8.  It also features a great interior, something many previous Pontiac models did not.  Unlike its ancestors, the G8’s interior is made out of top quality materials, has a layout that is intuitive and well-planned out, and looks very sophisticated.  Nevertheless, it does have its downsides, such as its less than stellar mileage.
