In Ferrari’s own words, the new Italia is a huge step forward from the previous mid-rear engine sports car they normally produce.
With an innovative interior featuring a new type of dash and steering wheel coming directly from the racing stable with direct input from the legendary Michael Schumacher himself, the cars general style is aerodynamically efficient, while being simple (for Ferrari’s standards) at the same time.
The front of the car has an opening for the grille along with side air intakes that have been designed to funnel air to the coolant radiators. With a 4499cc V8 installed the Ferrari jumps from 0-62mph in just 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of over 200mph. The three rear tail pipes produce 320g/km of CO2 emissions.
The car will make an appearance at the Frankfurt Motor Show that will be taking place this coming September 2009.

The Lexus IS Convertible is an incredibly luxurious car. It’s nothing at all like the old SC convertible.
This sleek car looks much sexier, and it’s got everything a great convertible should have. The hardtop can actually open or close within 21 seconds, and when it’s closed, the car looks like a coupe.
There will be two different versions of the 2010 Lexus IS Convertible: one is a 250C sports car that features a 204 horsepower, 2.5 litre V-6 engine, while the other, the 350C, can provide 306 horsepower and has a six-speed automatic transmission. The convertible is also a two door instead of a four door, with each door longer than those found on most sedans. Other tweaks to the IS Convertible

Audi hadn’t really ever tried to compete with companies like Porsche in the sports car world until they created the Audi R8.
The success of the R8 has shown that Audi can build a great modern sports car, and now they’re building on that success with the 2010 Audi TT. The TT features a front, five-cylinder turbo engine, aluminium body, and more.
The five-cylinder engine makes the TT fairly light, meaning the car can accelerate much faster and handles really well. The motor sounds like any great sports car, purring along at top speeds. How does the Audi TT differ from previous cars, especially the R8? It’s got better shocks, new anti-roll bars, and some updates to the steering system. The 2010 Audi TT takes what Audio started with the R8 and fine tunes it, making this sports car a major contender for the top spot.

Back in 2006, Aston Martin introduced the concept for the new Rapide. Now, three years later, the car is finally about to go from idea to reality.
Aston Martin is preparing to release the Rapide this September. The car will be the company’s first real four-door sports car. Of course, it will be incredibly elegant and high-powered, just like all Aston Martins.
Unlike some of their earlier vehicles, though, it will feature four full-sized seats and have plenty of room for storage. Aston Martin officials have stated that their goal with the Rapide is to create a versatile Aston Martin that works for everyone, not just those looking for a high-powered sports car. The Rapide will feature a 6.0 litre V12 engine and will mainly be produced at Aston Martin’s new factory in Austria.

Check out the 2009 Nissan Nismo 370Z. This 2009 car features a 350 horsepower, 3.7 litre VQ-series V6 engine.
The Nismo 370Z, just as the original Nismo Z, was designed by the same company that does Nissan’s Super GT racing cars. The 370Z slims down the car to make it look more like a sports car. The 370Z features a wider track and longer wheelbase.
The car is overall longer than most Nissans and is also a bit heavier than standard. However, it has been aerodynamically designed so that this extra weight isn’t an issue. As one would expect for a high performance vehicle, gas mileage isn’t the greatest—18 in the city, 26 on the open road.
